Foundations in Volume Unstable Soils
Legut, Dana ; Weiglová, Kamila (referee) ; Hauser,, Jaroslav (referee) ; Zdražil, Karel (referee) ; Vašina,, Josef (referee) ; Paseka, Antonín (advisor)
This dissertation is concerned with the foundations in volume unstable soils and objects disorders which are related to this. The thesis was focused on the study of clay and loess soils which are abundant in the geological profile of the Czech Republic. First, the formation of the two groups of soils is introduced, then their properties are examined and finally the influence of vegetation on the former type and the influence of collapsibility in the latter type are investigated. The conclusion is, in fact, a recommendation on the design of structures so that the system of clay / structure is not damaged and that structures are not subject to renovations. Several instance of problems with structures are discussed which were subject to structural repairs employing both a civil and geotechnical engineers.
Průzkum půd z hlediska degradace půdní struktury a stavby s využitím penetrometrie pro vybranou oblast
POLAN, Tomáš
The diploma thesis deals with soil degradation, individual degradation processes and examines the soil structure in the selected area. Two research technologies were chosen for the processing of the work, one of them is the measurement of soil com-paction by pedometric means and the other is the analysis of soil samples taken using Kopecky rollers to determine the water retention capacity, porosity and aera-tion of the soil. In the selected area, two soil cultivation methods are compared with each other, soil cultivation technology with plowing and soil cultivation technology without plowing. At the end of the work, the results of the investigation will be summarized and procedures recommended for reducing degradation effects on the soil.
Experimentální měření fyzikálních parametrů půdy na vybraném pozemku
BALOUN, Tomáš
The bachelor thesis deals with soil as such, its properties with a focus on physical soil parameters and evaluation of experimentally obtained measurement results. Samples were taken from the farm's family farm. The scope of the work was processing of samples and selection of suitable methods to obtain such soil parameters, which can be subsequently used as input data for computer simulations focused on soil compaction after crossings of agricultural machinery.

Abstract This thesis is about soil properties, their influence on soil spectral reflectance and Remote Sensing (RS) in pedology. The aim of the thesis is to explain the cause and to estimate the possible future development of the mosaics of local soils, which is visible in aerial photographs, on the selected territory of Kleneč in the Ústí nad Labem Region, by using data from the field survey and RS. Based on the results, evaluate if the methods of RS are suitable apparatus for solving this problem. For this purpose, data from field surveys, aerial and satellite images were collected. This information was compared and evaluated. The results showed a difference in soil properties that cause a different ability to bond water over time. Differnce in water content in soil influence the spectral reflectance of the soil, which is reflected in aerial and satellite imagery in the form of a mosaic. Key words: Remote Sensing, Soil,...
Josef Zeman's Contribution to Associational Life of People with Disablement
Klvaňová, Jana ; Mužáková, Monika (advisor) ; Titzl, Boris (referee)
The aim of my thesis titled "Josef Zeman's Contribution to Associational Life of People with Disablement" is to familiarize the readers more closely with Josef Zeman's contribution to the development of care for individuals with disablement, with respect to his participation in the federal movement. The accessible sources from the archives, period literature and Josef Zeman's estate were processed by the historical and analytical method. The introductory chapter maps the historical context of the time focusing on the legal aspects of the federal movement. Next part is devoted to the life stages and bibliography of Josef Zeman. The third chapter is focused on his active participation in improving the living conditions of disabled people through associational activities. The final part documents Josef Zeman's contribution in the field of special education.
Soils of Elbe floodplain. A dynamics of changes of development of alluvial soils at selected profiles in over 100 years.
Vejrostová, Lenka ; Šefrna, Luděk (advisor) ; Chuman, Tomáš (referee)
The thesis deals with soils of the middle Elbe floodplain. Basic information about the development of Elbe floodplain is focused on the middle Elbe region. The aim of the thesis is to capture the floodplain development in the area of interest, including the description and comparison of soils at different transects in surroundings of Kostelec nad Labem. For this purpose several transects from the historical Elbe canalisation documentation were chosen. Additional to this, small soil survey was carried out at identical locations in 2013. Obtained information was confronted and evaluated.
Vliv geologických a půdních podmínek na kvalitativní parametry vín
Kupsa, Jan
Aim of this thesis was to answer question how big is influence of geological and pedological conditions on qualitative parameters of wines. Four sites with variety Ryzlink rýnský have been choosen on vineyard Velká Vendule in Velké Žernoseky based on differect pedological a geological characteristics. Site have been closely described from pedological point of view. Wine samples from vintages 2012 to 2014 have been made from every site via unified vinification so 51 wine properities could be measured. Results have undergone canonical diskriminant analysis. It was found content of elements in soil isn't in clear relation to content in wine, mainly because different climatic conditions each year. In spite of this it was possible to clearly separate all wine samples by sites by chossing selected parameters (D/H)II, 13C, B, Ca, K, Mg, P, catechin a trans-piceid. They could be therefore called markers for tracking wine authenticity in relation to geological and pedological conditions.
